Welcome to the Twin Peaks fanpage, home of remembering the really weird stuff.(on the tv show.)

What was Twin Peaks?

Twin Peaks was a 1990-1991 tv series made by David Lynch and Mark Frost.
The show follows a small town grieving the loss of seventeen-year-old Laura Palmer, as she was found washed up from the water, wrapped in plastic. Sheriff Harry S. Truman teams up with Special Agent Dale Cooper to help solve the murder case. While on the case they discover secrets from Laura's past that not only reveal who Laura was in life, but some secrets connect to other town members and beyond.

Why Twin Peaks?

Artists I have admired throughout my life have always said Twin Peaks was there main inspiration when creating. So naturally, I was drawn to this show. My curiousity peaked even more when I was becoming more fascinated with the strange and surreal depicted in media as well. There were times when I rewatched the show up until halfway through episode 3 where I couldn't understand the appeal and gave up watching it. Yet, Twin Peaks always called me back to it with its' mysteries.
After I had fully given my undivided attention to the show and watched all of the series, I really started falling for the cozy dangerous town and the community built around it. Rewatches of the series as well brought me more enjoyment I rarely get with current shows as well.

Twin Peaks impacted my life, changed my perspective on storytelling, and brought me a strange sense of comfort. And I wish to honor it in my own way.

To quote Kyle Maclachlan,"I never left Twin Peaks."
